Artists wanted!

We are looking for artists for an online-shop opening at the beginning of 2012.

The online-gallery is looking for artists and their artworks, with a selling price per artwork between CHF 3’000 and 10’000. All media are welcome: oil, acrylic, ink, mixed media, photography or even collages are accepted. The artworks will be displayed in a virtual space, on the internet. The preferred styles of the gallery are very diverse: non-figurative paintings and inks inspired by Japanese “sumi-e”, lyric abstraction and expressionism are examples. But the gallery will accept other styles as well, the decision will also be based on other criteria. Some references are Leiko Ikemura, Takako Azami, Daisuke Ichiba, Philippe Cognée, Suzanne Aubert, Madeleine Spierer, Nicola Dill, Eric Rondepierre and Sylvie Bonnot. The works must be 2D and come with good quality reproductions (min. 2 MB Jpeg’s).

Upon successful sale of the painting(s), a commission of 30 % has to be paid to the gallery.

An organisation fee of CHF 50 has to be paid to Art & Law by Calcò for the service of forwarding your contact details, link to website and eventual additional sample pictures of your art to the gallery. This fee is due regardless of a successful placement and has to be paid before the service takes place. For every painting successfully sold, an additional commission fee is due to Art & Law by Calcò of 10 %. Upon successful sale, the amount of the organisation fee can be subtracted from the commission fee of 10 %.

Payment methods: Paypal and bank transfers are accepted.

  1. Hello,
You can see my paintings in these three sites ( but http://www.odilecariteau.fr is in construction with my very recent paintings). Since many years, I work in France in the manner of very traditional asian paintings in black and white. I have shown my paintings in Korea (in a gallery in Séoul) and in Japan (in Zen temples and in a gallery). I have worked also in the town of Yamaguchi with a Kabuki theater wich has wanted to create dances with my paintings. All asian people very close to traditional asian paintings appreciate my work. I paint only in black and white, sometimes I can use the color blue or red or silver. I practice TaÎ chi chuan, qi gong and chan. if you are interested by my work, you can contact me. All my best wishes. Odile Cariteau

2 – I am AN ARTIST, so I can provide u with my ART AND with a FOTO of my art, not a “high quality reproduction”!… Reproductions cost money AND have author rights too as they r already a sellable piece of – exactly this – A REPRODUCRION of an ART PIECE.
